Your shop operates every day. New vulnerabilities can become known even when you have not changed anything yourself. Our security monitoring keeps an eye on technical warning signs and known weaknesses.

The SBS Security module regularly checks your PrestaShop and sends the results to our protected security service. Relevant alerts reach our team. We assess their urgency and contact you when a decision or action is required. You do not have to interpret scan reports yourself.

What is included

• The SBS Security module and its updates throughout your active subscription.
• Regular automated checks for suspicious files and common malware patterns.
• Checks of PrestaShop and identified modules against our continually maintained database of known vulnerabilities.
• Additional code checks where a suitable verification profile exists for the vulnerability concerned. These can recognise certain manually applied security fixes.
• Monitoring of whether the security agent is still reporting, with information about incomplete scans and areas that could not be checked.
• An initial assessment of relevant alerts by our team during business hours.
• Clear information about urgent risks and recommended next steps.

How monitoring starts

The initial assessment and any required setup work are listed separately in your quotation.

1. We establish the technical requirements for your installation and the contact responsible for security notifications.
2. You install the module and activate it using your connection code. A cron task is configured for regular checks. We help with setup questions.
3. The agreed initial assessment records the starting condition. Existing problems and necessary preparatory work are identified separately.
4. Regular checks then run, and our team contacts you when relevant action is needed.

What happens when we find a problem?

Reviewing the alert and recommending the next steps are included in monitoring. Further investigation, updates, repairs and malware cleanup are agreed separately. Chargeable additional work requires your approval.

A subscription does not automatically resolve existing security problems. Outstanding recommended measures remain documented as open risks.

One installation, including Multistore

The subscription covers one PrestaShop installation. All shops and domains within the same Multistore installation are included. Each additional independent installation requires its own subscription.

Important service limitations

Monitoring does not replace backups, necessary security updates or a full code audit. Scans cannot detect every unknown vulnerability or every attack. Access restrictions may limit coverage; gaps are reported.

Manual repairs, malware cleanup, extensive root-cause investigations, custom code audits, version migrations, hosting repairs and paid third-party licences are not included. This service is not a firewall and does not include a human 24/7 on-call service. Automated checks run at configured intervals, not as uninterrupted real-time monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to check scan reports regularly?

No. Our team reviews relevant alerts and contacts you when action is required. We still need a reachable contact person for decisions and approval of additional work.

Are detected problems repaired automatically?

No. Monitoring includes detection and an initial human assessment. Repairs are agreed separately. The module does not independently delete or modify suspicious shop files.

Can you monitor an older PrestaShop?

We assess the technical requirements before onboarding. Version numbers alone do not tell the whole story: security fixes may have been applied manually. We explain necessary preparatory work and limitations.

Is the Security Check included in the monthly price?

The initial assessment and any required setup are listed separately. If a suitable recent assessment exists, we establish whether it can be reused.

What happens if I cancel?

The subscription is cancellable monthly. The agreed ongoing support and associated services end when the subscription ends. Binding billing and cancellation terms are provided before you subscribe.
