Cookie Consent – Cookie Banner for PrestaShop
Manage cookie consent directly in PrestaShop with SBS Cookie Consent. Scan your shop, apply detected services and activate: with clear choices, easy withdrawal and support for SBS Google Tag Manager. For PrestaShop 8.0.4–9.x.
With SBS Cookie Consent for PrestaShop, you add clear cookie consent management to your store. Customers decide which optional services they allow. Configure the module directly in the back office and manage services, descriptions and consent records in one place.
Getting started is straightforward: install, scan your shop, save and activate. For detected standard services, the module prepares descriptions, provider details, categories and blocking rules. You can start with a prepared service list instead of entering everything yourself.
Accept and reject have equal prominence from the first screen. Visitors can choose individual services and change their decision later through Cookie settings. Withdrawal is available directly in the settings dialog.

Features in Detail
Automatic detection based on your shop
The scan checks public home, product, category and CMS pages for known embedded scripts and media. An ordinary Facebook link or an unused preset does not create an extra Facebook service. Supported detections include common integrations of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft UET, Matomo, Hotjar, TikTok Pixel, YouTube, Vimeo and Google Maps.
SBS Google Tag Manager is recognized through its configuration and actual loader script. Permission and withdrawal are passed to the module automatically. Repeated scans preserve your edited descriptions, categories and manually added services.
Front Office
- Allow optional services individually or reject all of them together
- Load recognized optional content only after the appropriate permission
- Placeholders for blocked embedded media
- Permanently accessible Cookie settings with withdrawal directly in the dialog
- Responsive layout, keyboard controls and light or dark appearance
Back Office and Integrations
- Edit names, purposes, providers, retention periods and cookie information in multiple languages
- Adapt categories, colours, placement and banner text to your shop
- Add custom services and further integrations
- Use Google Consent Mode v2 and status signals for Microsoft UET and Meta
- Import existing CookiesPlus settings as a draft to help with migration
Consent Records and Multistore
The module stores consent records locally in your shop. Administrators can inspect records and export them as CSV; visitors can download their current receipt as JSON. Configuration backups and inheritance between shop groups and individual shops simplify administration. No external consent cloud service is required.
Compatibility and Scope
PrestaShop 8.0.4–9.x. PHP 8.1 or later, as required by your PrestaShop version. Interface and documentation are included in German, Spanish, Polish, Italian, French and English. Developed by silbersaiten.
The scan checks up to 120 public pages and identifies supported integrations. Custom scripts, the contents of external tag-manager containers and services loaded only after login or interaction need additional checks. Cookie details and lifetimes are prepared from editable presets.
SBS Cookie Consent supports the technical implementation of European consent requirements. Legal assessment still depends on the actual shop configuration, services used and privacy notices.
